Haven Home CareFairlawn, OH

About The Position

Haven Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides in Summit County, Ohio, offering various entry paths based on an applicant's background: STNA license (active or expired), HHA certificate (30+ hours), 1+ year of supervised experience under an RN or LPN, or free training for those new to caregiving. All paths lead to the same job, clients, and support. The role involves assisting older adults in their homes with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light cleaning, errands, and companionship. It is a physically demanding job, requiring aides to help clients move and be on their feet for most of the day, but it does not involve administering medicine or performing medical tasks. The company matches aides with clients based on their specified limits regarding pets, smoking, travel distance, and availability. Compensation varies by entry path, ranging from $16-$18/hour, with opportunities for raises, holiday pay, and bonuses for perfect attendance and referrals. The position is a W-2 job, and Haven Home Care participates in E-Verify.
