Requirements
- Valid New York State HHA certification
- Physical exam (within past year)
- TB test: PPD or QuantiFERON (within 1 year) or chest X-ray (within 5 years)
- MMR proof of immunity (titers or vaccination within 10 years)
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year of home care experience preferred
- Driver’s license preferred (not required)
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care tasks
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Provide medication reminders
- Offer meaningful companionship and emotional support
- Follow care plans and report changes in condition
