We are currently recruiting for a CNA to reliably serve patients on a per visit basis in the following counties Southern New Castle, Kent and Sussex in BAYADA’s Dover Office. Requirements

  • Have at least one year of work experience.
  • Have successfully completed a recognized CNA training course or a 75-hour Home Health Aide certification.
  • A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.
  • Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
  • Help clients with Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
  • Provide Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
  • Assist with Meal preparation and feeding.
  • Assist with Range of motion/exercises.
  • Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices).
  • Perform Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration.
