Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
• Proven experience in home health, senior care, or a similar role.
• Demonstrable knowledge of safety practices related to elder care.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with caregivers and medical professionals.
• Ability to handle physical workload and assist clients with physical mobility and transfers.
• Strong observational skills and ability to report changes in client conditions accurately.
• Reliability and compassion are essential, with a demonstrated record of punctuality and integrity.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as client visits can require travel.
• A respectful and caring attitude towards elderly clients, their families, and fellow staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Provide support for individuals with Dementia and Alzheimer's, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients to foster a sense of well-being.
• Aid clients with mobility challenges as required.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and facilitate companionship.
• Document care provided and promptly report any changes in client conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to formulate and implement care plans tailored to the specific needs of each individual.
