As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality, expert care of your assigned hospice patients. Requirements

Valid NJ CHHA certification
Driver’s License and willingness to travel throughout the service area.
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

Bilingual is a plus!

Responsibilities

Caring for hospice patients in private homes and/or healthcare facilities
Assisting with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, assistance with meals, ambulation, re-positioning, etc.
Implementing plan of care under the directive of a registered nurse
Performing light housekeeping in patient area only, when needed.
Documenting patient care in electronic software.
Ability to travel to patient homes and facilities as assigned
Represent Samaritan in a positive manner to the patients, families and entire community
Other duties as assigned.
