About The Position

BAYADA is seeking Home Health Aides (CNAs) who are passionate about caring and committed to helping people live their best lives at home. This role involves providing one-on-one support to clients with activities of daily living, household tasks, and companion care. BAYADA is a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality home health care, enabling patients to live at home with comfort, independence, and dignity. They are currently recruiting for CNAs to serve patients on a per visit basis in Southern New Castle, Kent, and Sussex counties from their Dover Office.

Requirements

Have at least one year of work experience
Have successfully completed a recognized CNA training course or a 75-hour Home Health Aide certification
A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others
Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned

Responsibilities

Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse
Provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home
Help clients with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding
Assist with range of motion/exercises
Assist with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
Perform vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
