About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide quality in-home care to our clients in Inkster, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting their independence, and ensuring their comfort and safety in their homes.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related caregiving role is an advantage, but NOT required
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and other physical tasks
- Reliable transportation to clients homes in Inkster
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help clients with mobility and exercise routines as directed
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff or supervisors
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow care plans and instructions as outlined by healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress
