About The Position

Work in your neighborhood and give back to your community. BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for HHA - Home Health Aides to care for our clients. As a member of our home care team, you will be valued, respected, and heard. At this current time, we have multiple openings for HHA's to work 1 on 1 with our senior/elderly clients. Not certified? Not a problem! Inquire about our affordable HHA Training Program! We have current job openings for HHAs – Home Health Aides in the following locations: Marmora Cape May Court House Beesley Point Ocean City Strathmere Wildwood Woodbine

Requirements

• Have at least one year of work experience
• Must be listed on the NJ Board of Nursing registry, active and in good standing.
• Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Meet all state requirements

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
