About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide quality in-home care to our clients in Fenton, MI. This role focuses on assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence and dignity.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related caregiving roll is a plus.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes within Fenton, MI.
- Certification or training in CPR and First Aid is a plus, but not necessary.
- Ability to pass background checks.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.
- Support clients with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Prepare and serve meals according to client dietary needs.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition to supervisors or medical staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
