About The Position
Certified Home Health Aide (Per Diem) A compassionate job-seeker is needed for the Home Health Aide opportunity with our company! As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality, expert care of your assigned hospice patients. This opportunity offers $18.75 - $22 per hour based on years of experience. Requirements
- Valid NJ CHHA certification
- Driver’s License and willingness to travel throughout the service area.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Caring for hospice patients in private homes and/or healthcare facilities
- Assisting with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, assistance with meals, ambulation, re-positioning, etc.
- Implementing plan of care under the directive of a registered nurse
- Performing light housekeeping in patient area only, when needed.
- Documenting patient care in electronic software.
- Ability to travel to patient homes and facilities as assigned
- Represent Samaritan in a positive manner to the patients, families and entire community
- Other duties as assigned.
