About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide quality care and support to our clients in Inkster, MI. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with their daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety in their homes.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar caregiving role is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families
- Reliability, patience, and a caring attitude
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Willingness to undergo background checks required
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties related to client care
- Monitor client health and report any concerns to supervising healthcare professionals
- Follow care plans and adhere to all safety and health regulations
