About The Position
Affirmed Home Care, a premier concierge home care agency in New York, is seeking experienced Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for per diem opportunities in Pound Ridge and the surrounding Northern Westchester region. Requirements
- Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate
- Minimum 1 year of professional HHA experience
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Driver’s license preferred
- New York State Health Requirements
- Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON test within the past year, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years
- MMR immunization within the past 10 years
Nice To Haves
- Driver’s license preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance
- Offer medication reminders as directed
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment for clients
