We are currently recruiting for a Home Health Aide (HHA) to reliably serve patients in the following counties [Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, Salem] in BAYADA's ACSP Division. Responsibilities
- Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, provide personal care services, household support, and companion care to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
- Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Assist with range of motion/exercises.
- Help with ambulation (transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices).
- Provide medication reminders.
Requirements
- Minimum one year work experience.
- Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board.
- A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
- Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
- Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous home health care or patient care experience welcomed, but not required.
