About The Position

We're hiring compassionate, dependable Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide consistent in-home care for a client who requires assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) , including feeding, meal preparation, and occasional errands. This role is ideal for caregivers who are comfortable supporting clients with increased difficulty in ADLs due to muscle weakness and an unsteady gait , and who can safely assist with mobility using an assistive device . Caregivers in this position will assist with personal care, meal support, mobility, and errands as needed, while ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment . Attention to safety is especially important, as the client requires steady support with ambulation and daily routines . We're looking for individuals who are reliable, attentive, and committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care while building a positive relationship with the client and family. Schedule: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Tuesday 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Thursday This is a great opportunity for caregivers seeking consistent part-time shifts while making a meaningful difference in a client's daily life. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum one (1) year of documented home care assistance and/or direct care experience at an assisted living or skilled nursing facility, etc., is preferred
  • Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance (proof of insurance is required)
  • Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
  • Ability to adhere to HIPAA and ensure confidentiality and security of the client's medical information
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively
  • Up-to-date vaccinations including COVID-19, Influenza, and Hepatitis B

  • Preferred: Successful completion of a nursing assistant or certified home health aide program

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) , including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene, with attention to increased difficulty due to muscle weakness
  • Provide feeding assistance and meal preparation to support proper nutrition
  • Support safe mobility and ambulation for a client with an unsteady gait , including use of assistive devices
  • Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe home environment
  • Run errands as needed and assist with daily tasks to support independence
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to ensure the client's comfort and well-being
  • Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to supervisors or case managers
  • Follow the care plan and maintain clear communication with the care team
  • Provide client-facing care as assigned
  • Provide assistance with daily tasks as directed in the client's personalized plan of care, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
  • Provide companionship, personal and hygiene care as directed in the client's personalized plan of care, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, and assisting with measurements, if necessary
  • Adhere to the policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency of employment
  • Adhere to HIPAA laws and ensure confidentiality and security of the client's medical information
