Home Health Aide or CNA
About The Position
AdvisaCare is actively seeking dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA’s) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s) to provide private duty in-home care services to clients in the Grosse Pointe area. This role is crucial for assisting patients in maintaining their independence and enhancing their quality of life within the comfort of their own homes. The position offers flexible scheduling and weekly paychecks, along with other benefits. Responsibilities include providing essential personal care, mobility assistance, monitoring patient conditions, performing light housekeeping, and offering companionship and emotional support, all while adhering to individualized care plans and safety protocols.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Driver’s License
- Work in a team responsibly and independently
- Good communication skills
- Ability to travel within the service area
- CPR Certified
- Ability to pass a drug screen/clear background
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff or supervisor
- Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, meal preparation, tidying up)
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Follow individualized care plans and safety protocols
