About the position
We are urgently seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to join our team in Allegan, MI. This is an immediate opening, and we need someone who can provide essential care to our clients in a respectful and empathetic manner.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities.
- Help clients with mobility and transfers as needed.
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions, as per instructions.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor or family members.
- Ensure clients' comfort and dignity at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
- Reliable transportation to the client ’s location in Zeeland, MI.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
