Requirements

Active HHA certification in good standing with the Oklahoma State Department of Health
CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance

Responsibilities

Providing hands‑on personal care such as bathing, grooming, oral care, shaving, nail care, and dressing
Assisting with simple nursing or therapy procedures
Supporting patients with ambulation, exercises, and medication administration
Helping with meal preparation and feeding when needed
Taking vital signs and reporting changes in condition to the nurse
Assisting with transfers and post‑therapy rehab activities
Offering patient instructions as appropriate
Practicing infection control and following universal precautions
Recognizing and reporting any suspected abuse per policy and law
Occasionally assisting with office tasks, telemonitoring setup, or new‑hire orientation
