Home Health Aide - HHA
About The Position
We are seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) for our Assisted Living facilities in NE Minneapolis! We currently have limited openings for Mornings (7:00am to 3:30pm), Afternoons (4:00pm to 9:00pm), and Evenings (3:00pm to 11:00pm). All block schedules include every other weekend (Saturday AND Sunday) and alternate holiday rotation. On-call (no guaranteed hours) is also available. All HHAs must be at least 18 years old for our facility. What Catholic Eldercare offers you: Paid holidays & PTO or Sick/Safe Leave. Requirements
- Experience as home health aide, personal care attendant or DSP preferred but not required.
- Must accurately and dependably administer medication.
- Advanced reading, writing, and speaking in English.
- Ability to work independently to meet resident needs.
- Ability to work with colleagues and residents from diverse backgrounds.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds regularly, push, pull, bend, sit, and stand during every shift.

Responsibilities
- The Home Health Aide is a key team member who provides direct personal care to our residents to help ensure their dignity and quality of life.
- Under the supervision of a RN the Home Health Aide assists residents to complete activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, giving medications, and feeding.
