As a Certified Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with daily activities, promoting their independence, and ensuring their overall well-being. Requirements

  • Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) from New Jersey Board of Nursing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to think and work both independently and with direction.
  • Must have exceptional personal hygiene.
  • Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
  • Knowledge of basic housekeeping.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing home healthcare services.
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a home health care aide preferred but not required.
  • Valid CPR certification(Preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, grooming, and assistance with daily activities.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
  • Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client.
  • Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity.
  • Aiding with activities of daily living
  • Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
  • Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
  • Light housekeeping
  • Meal preparation
  • Providing companionship
