As a Certified Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with daily activities, promoting their independence, and ensuring their overall well-being. Requirements
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) from New Jersey Board of Nursing.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to think and work both independently and with direction.
- Must have exceptional personal hygiene.
- Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping.
- Demonstrated experience in providing home healthcare services.
- Compassionate and caring demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a home health care aide preferred but not required.
- Valid CPR certification(Preferred but not required).
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, grooming, and assistance with daily activities.
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity.
- Aiding with activities of daily living
- Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
- Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Providing companionship
