Requirements
- One year of verifiable direct care experience such as a hospital, nursing home or home care agency setting
- HHA training program available for those interested and not meeting our experience requirements - inquire during application process!
Responsibilities
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance
