Requirements

• One year of verifiable direct care experience such as a hospital, nursing home or home care agency setting
• HHA training program available for those interested and not meeting our experience requirements - inquire during application process!

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
