MN Signature Care is seeking to hire a full-time and part-time Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate long-term care for our elderly assisted living residents. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOME HEALTH AIDE (HHA) / CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA) As a Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you are the heart and soul of our team. Under the direction of a licensed nurse, you get to help our senior/elderly residents stay close to home and live with independence and dignity. You do more than just provide medication reminders or assist with meals, light housekeeping, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, errands, and appointments. While those tasks are important, you also provide companionship and socialization, as you support them in visiting with friends, attending events, or working on hobbies. You make sure that they are mentally stimulated, physically active, and well-nourished, encouraging independence and promoting family involvement as much as possible. You are meticulous about reporting any changes or concerns promptly. In this way, you provide real peace-of-mind for them and their families. Job Summary : The Home Health Aide is responsible for assisting the licensed nurse in the delivery of resident care. Under the direction of the nurse, the home health aide provides medically oriented task(s) to maintain health or to facilitate treatment of an illness or injury provided in a person's place of residence.
