Requirements

  • At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Professional, courteous communication skills with families and clinical teams.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Flexible availability.

Responsibilities

  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and social interaction to clients.
  • Personal Care: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Mobility Assistance: Help with transfers (e.g., bed to chair) and walking to ensure safety.
  • Nutritional Support: Prepare meals and assist with feeding as required by the care plan.
  • Household Support: Perform light housekeeping (changing linens, tidying up) and laundry related to the client.
  • Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take their medications on time.
