About The Position

Total Care Home Health Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) or Caregivers to provide exceptional support to individuals in need. The role focuses on fostering a comfortable and safe environment while implementing personalized care plans to enhance the overall well-being of clients. Caregivers will be responsible for assisting with daily activities and monitoring clients' health and needs in accordance with agency policies and industry standards.

Requirements

• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Good communication skills.
• Professional and friendly attitude.
• Experience with Dementia patients.
• CNA license/certification for CNAs.
• Must undergo Level II Criminal Background Screening.
• Must have Physician's statement of good health and negative PPD or CXR.
• Must have Driver's License and Auto Insurance for car transport.
• Must have a Social Security Card.
• CPR or First Aid Certification.

Nice To Haves

• Willing to work flexible hours, which may include night shifts.
• Willing to work for contractual/agency.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship including social interactions and emotional reassurance.
• Initiate activities that stimulate the mind.
• Perform/assist with essential shopping and errands.
• Transport or escort clients to medical and other appointments.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Provide physical support for daily activities and personal hygiene.
• Turn and reposition bedridden patients.
• Implement the care plan as instructed.
• Record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate.
• Complete and maintain records of daily activities, observations, and direct hours of service.
• Stay up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedure.

Benefits

• Contract position with flexible hours.
• Pay rate of $16.00 - $17.00 per hour.
