About The Position

The Home Care Aide Training Program is designed for nurturing, caring, and compassionate individuals who want to make a difference in someone's life. This challenging and rewarding field of Home Care and/or Hospice provides the necessary training to help clients in need of clinical support. The program includes both lecture and hands-on training in a classroom setting, followed by a clinical portion after the class is completed. Participants will learn essential skills such as bathing, safely moving patients, managing daily activities, and nutrition, preparing them to work one-on-one with a patient in their home as a certified Home Health Aide.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a registered/insured vehicle.
• Proof of COVID and Flu vaccination is required.

Responsibilities

• Attend classes Monday-Friday for 2 1/2 weeks without make-up classes.
• Complete both lecture and hands-on training.
• Participate in a clinical portion after classroom training.
• Pass a test at the end of the class to be considered for a position.
