About The Position

Brownsburg Meadows Assisted Living is now hiring Home Health Aides. This position is full-time, and candidates can find what shift works best for them. The role involves making a difference in the lives of the residents by providing care and compassion, acting as a positive teammate, and ensuring the dignity and rights of residents are protected. Home Health Aides will assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, transferring, and feeding. A cheerful and tactful disposition is essential when interacting with residents and their families.

Requirements

• Must have Home Health Aide Certification.
• Successful completion of a state approved Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide training and competency evaluation program or a HHA or C.N.A competency evaluation program approved by the state.
• Customer Service focus and the ability to demonstrate core values is a must!
• Certified in CPR and First Aid Certification or willing to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Making a difference in the lives of the residents we serve by providing them with care and compassion.
• Acting as a positive teammate to fellow employees by helping onboard new teammates.
• Providing care in a manner that protects and promotes residents' rights, dignity, privacy, confidentiality, self-determination, and active participation.
• Assisting in activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, transferring, and feeding of assigned residents.
• Displaying a tactful, cheerful, and enthusiastic disposition with all residents and family members.
