About The Position

The Home Health Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch location, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and managing the recruitment and retention of staff. This role involves supervising Clinical Managers and Business Office Managers, ensuring quality patient care, and leading initiatives for performance improvement.

Requirements

  • Must be a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, or other Authorized Healthcare Provider.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Bachelor's Degree with training and experience in healthcare administration and at least one year of supervisory experience in home health.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in administration/management of home health programs.
  • Knowledge of OASIS, Home Care Home Base, RCD, and PDGM.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all day-to-day functions of the branch location.
  • Ensure the availability of a Clinical Manager during operating hours.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Oversee the reporting of OASIS data to measure patient outcomes.
  • Ensure patients are informed of their rights and address any complaints or concerns.
  • Oversee comprehensive patient assessments and care plans, ensuring updates and coordination among care providers.
  • Ensure coordination of services among all disciplines throughout patient care delivery.
  • Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives across regional agencies.
  • Ensure infection prevention and control measures are in place.
  • Interview, hire, and retain qualified personnel, providing ongoing performance reviews and guidance.
