About The Position
Ryan Plumbing, Heating & Fire Protection is seeking dedicated Home Energy Auditors to join our expanding Green Energy Division in Rochester, NY. Our Home Energy Auditors play a crucial role in assessing the specific needs of each home, ensuring that we provide tailored solutions that enhance energy efficiency and improve overall comfort. Our division has been recognized with back-to-back Century Awards from the U.S. Department of Energy, highlighting our dedication to excellence in energy solutions. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of homes to identify energy-saving opportunities. You will build work scopes for customers in an efficient and timely manner, maximizing the amount of work done to each home to save energy and enhance customer safety and comfort. A key part of your role will involve deciphering the specific equipment requirements of each house and recommending appropriate HVAC systems and insulation improvements. This position requires a personable individual with excellent people skills, as you will be interacting with customers to provide them with the best possible service and solutions. We provide a supportive environment with on-the-job training to ensure you are well-equipped to succeed in this role. While HVAC training or education is preferred, it is not mandatory, and we are willing to provide training to the right candidate. Additionally, we offer opportunities for professional development, including potential support for obtaining BPI certifications after a 90-day review period.
