Requirements

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain a box truck for the purpose of picking up and delivering furniture.
• Load and unload goods onto the truck, ensuring that they are securely strapped in place to prevent damage during transit.
• Plan and organize daily delivery routes to optimize efficiency and meet customer delivery expectations.
• Provide exceptional customer service, including polite and professional interaction with clients during delivery drop-offs and pick-ups.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the truck to ensure it remains in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of yourself, other road users, and the goods being transported.
• Perform potential repairs or touch ups to product on site as its being delivered.
