About The Position
As a delivery driver for Sainsbury’s, you will be responsible for driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries directly to our customers' doorsteps, ensuring timely and safe delivery in excellent condition. Your role will involve completing checks to ensure the van is organized, clean, and roadworthy, as well as securing delivery cases before heading out on the road. You will also serve our customers by addressing any questions or substitutions they may have and keeping them informed of any delays. Additionally, you will build a strong knowledge of our products, services, and promotions to provide helpful recommendations. When not making deliveries, you will assist across the store as needed.
