HOME DELIVERY COORDINATOR Job DetailsJob Location: Cherry Blossom - Portland , OR 97216Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $18.75 - $20.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayJob Category: Nonprofit - Social ServicesQualificationsEducation & Knowledge High School diploma or equivalent Valid Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain within two weeks Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation required Current ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire Skills, Abilities & Experience COVID 19 vaccination required Proven experience to effectively manage, engage and retain volunteers Bilingual/Bicultural English/Spanish, Vietnamese, Russian, Asian, or African languages strongly preferred Excellent organizational, record keeping, time management, and multi-tasking skills, including the ability to set priorities and be flexible to last-minute changes Ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate with diverse populations including minority, low income and persons with disabilities Strong ability to problem solve and implement solutions Ability to repetitively move 25lbs; routinely moves cooler and cooler bags from one location to another and from various heights in preparation of and for the completion of meal delivery; ability to ascend stairs and move around on city sidewalks Proficient in computer applications and MS Office including, Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to quickly learn new computer programs; experience with client data management systems a plus Working Conditions/Physical Demands Fast-paced, with significant people interaction. May be required to move up to 50lbs, 25lbs repetitively, and frequently position self to stoop, bend, and crouch, sitting for short periods and typing. Dexterity of hands and fingers required for the operation of general office equipment. Must pass drug and alcohol test and criminal background check. Any satisfactory combination of experience, training, and/or education that ensures the ability to perform the work may substitute for the above qualifications. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
