About The Position

The Home Daily CDL A Truck Driver position involves the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, ensuring the courteous delivery of products to valued customers. This role includes local routes that allow drivers to be home daily, with preloaded trucks and palletized delivery. Drivers will be paid hourly, with overtime available after 40 hours each week. The position also entails unloading and delivering products to local customers, as well as performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicles.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• At least 1 year of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent military driving experience.
• Ability to lift products regularly from 25 pounds to 50 pounds and up to 170 pounds.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and company equipment.
• Deliver products to local customers courteously.
• Unload and deliver products as required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as electric pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
