Summary Home Comfort Advisors are responsible for generating new customer leads, form a positive relationship with each customer, and recommend and sell heating, ventilation, or air conditioning products to leads and current customers. Your duties are also to assist HVAC specialists who install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment by contacting customers, providing quotes about the recommended service, writing proposals and contracts, and designing HVAC systems in customer homes and businesses. This is a 100% commission role. Compensation is completely based on your performance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED - THIS WILL BE VERIFIED DURING THE BACKGROUND PROCESS
  • At least 5 years of in-home sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to properly engineer a job, perform heat load calculations and determine proper equipment sizing.
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must be at least 22 years of age to operate our company vehicles.
  • Must pass MVR screening and maintain a good driving record.
  • Must be able to follow directions and work independently
  • Ability to read, write and speak in English

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of HVAC and Trane products preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for handling all sales leads (self-generated and furnished by the Company) in a timely and professional manner and communicating the disposition of each lead with the Director of Sales.
  • Accurately design and quote solutions for residential customers
  • Responsible for executing proper follow up procedures with every customer
  • Ensures that customer expectations are met and kept throughout the duration of the project to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain sales that meet or exceed the profit margin and closing ratio goals assigned by the Director of Sales
  • Make recommendations to the customer regarding the different options they must resolve their wants and needs
  • Communicate to the consumer on the proper operation and maintenance of the installed equipment
  • Answer related questions as to operation, features, and functions to the homeowner
  • Identify new business opportunities by performing direct sales activities and provide support to the administrative personnel as needed
  • Maintain company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out.
  • Other duties as assigned.
