In Home Clinician / QMHP
About The Position
Clarvida is seeking an Intensive In-Home Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide direct, supportive services to children, youth, and their families experiencing mental, behavioral, or emotional challenges that significantly impact daily functioning. In this role, you will work with families in their homes and communities to promote stability, build skills, and support meaningful, lasting change. This is a community-based role that requires flexibility, strong engagement skills, and the ability to support families during non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and crisis situations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related)
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and provide crisis response
- Registered or eligible to register with the Virginia Board as a Qualified Mental Health Professional – Children (QMHP-C) or Trainee (QMHP-T) - we can assist
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing and active state minimum auto insurance
- Ability to pass all required background checks
Responsibilities
- Provide intensive in-home supportive services to children, youth, and families
- Deliver education, training, and skills-based interventions aligned with service goals
- Support families in managing behavioral, emotional, and relational challenges
- Assist clients in developing coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and healthy routines
- Respond to crisis situations as required
- Collaborate with supervisors, clinical teams, and community partners
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documenta tion
