Visiting Angels of Lynchburg is looking to hire a part-time or full-time PCA or CNA Caregiver to provide in-home services to our clients. We are looking for those who have a passion for caring for others in a one-on-one environment. We provide a variety of non-medical services that allow aging adults to remain in their homes where they are surrounded by their fondest memories, all the things that they love and where they can meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. Requirements

Must have a valid 40 hour PCA certificate or a CNA certificate
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Eligible to work in the United States (we are not able to provide sponsorship)
Two satisfactory professional references
Must have driver's license, personal vehicle, and car insurance
Dependable and empathetic
Must Be Able to Speak and Read English
Available 30 hours+ per week preferred

Responsibilities

Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors in their homes
Personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing and dressing
Help with household errands and provide transportation to and from appointments
Perform grocery shopping, meal preparation tasks, and light housekeeping
Monitor medication schedules and provide reminders throughout the day
