About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to join our team in Milan, MI. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide essential in-home support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or caregiving is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes.
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to client needs.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with basic health monitoring.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and care plans.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and confidentiality standards.
