About The Position

The Home Care Technician uses sales, service and educational skills to ensure safe delivery, setup and use of equipment. This role educates patients on the proper use of equipment in a home setting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid State of Oklahoma Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle report that meets Saint Francis Health System (SFHS) guidelines.
• Knowledge of Home Care Equipment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other applicable software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal that present clear and concise information.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner.
• Sound ability to maintain professional and courteous and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in adynamic work environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with competing deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Department of Transportation (DOT) Hazmat certification or Oklahoma Commercial Driver's License (CDL), preferred.
• Minimum 1 year related experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers medically necessary home medical equipment.
• Educates patients on proper use of equipment in a home setting.
• Completes and acquires necessary documentation as required.
• Processes all deliveries in an accurate and timely manner.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance and simple repairs on equipment as required in accordance with policies and procedures.
