About The Position
Meritan, Inc., a Tennessee-based health, human, and social services nonprofit, is seeking a compassionate candidate to join its Home and Community-Based Services team in Memphis, TN as a Home Care Specialist (HCS). This PRN/part-time position will be responsible for providing services to home care clients in Shelby County. Some HCS duties include, but are not limited to, personal care, routine household chores, and maintaining accurate and timely visit notes. Meritan continues to work through the healthcare crisis with appropriate infection control measures and personal protective equipment. $1000 SIGN-ON BONUS (two equal payments at 6 and 12 months)! Requirements
- Completion of a paid 40 hour training program to prepare the HCS for the task and responsibility of this service; Exemptions may apply.
- High school graduate or GED preferred.
- Experience with home management, care of children, and/or disabled, ill or convalescent people, which would indicate the abilities to perform the duties of this position is preferred, but not required. The agency will provide all necessary provider training to ensure success.
- Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable vehicle required.
