About The Position

The Home Care Specialist position at CDM Caregiving Services involves providing compassionate care to elderly individuals and those with disabilities in their homes. Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle required.
• Social security card must be provided.
• Submit to a state and federal background check through DSHS.
• If not currently credentialed, submit home care aide certification application within 14 days of hire.
• Complete 75 hours of entry-level training approved by DSHS within 120 days from hire.
• Pass the DOH Home Care Aide certification examination within 200 days from hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in in-home care is preferred but not mandatory.
• Current CNA or HCA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes.
• Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care.
• Promote client independence and well-being.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and office staff.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.
