About the position

Responsible for scheduling and supervising in-home care workers and clients in a geographic area. Supervisory and/or home care experience preferred. CNA's, HHA's, Caregivers with computer experience encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules employees as directed by client's care plan established upon intake.
  • Supervises direct service employees by setting expectations for attendance, performance and conduct by holding employees accountable to the company's policies and guidelines.
  • Creates work schedules by entering schedules into the system, manages changes to client schedules due to client request, illness, vacation or leaves of absence.
  • Provides alternate coverage to ensure the client's care plan is followed and client services are not interrupted.
  • Processes patient authorizations and communicate with central admissions, enter reauthorizations into client record and ensure chart preparation for all new clients.
  • Oversees compliance on field employee and client files.
  • Conducts in home supervisory visits in client's home.
  • Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  • Coordinates and drives the field recruiting and hiring process.
  • Oversee the new hire process for all new employees and ensure all documentation is completed timely and accurately.

Requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of administrative experience required.
  • Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Scheduling program.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Supervisory and/or home care experience preferred.
  • CNA's, HHA's, Caregivers with computer experience encouraged to apply.
