About The Position
Virginia Home Care Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Home Care Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in Vienna, VA. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $70,000 per year. The Home Care Scheduling Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing and monitoring client schedules, ensuring that our clients receive consistent and high-quality service delivery. This position requires direct interaction with clients, their family members, and caregivers, including Home Health Aides (HHAs), Personal Care Aides (PCAs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). The coordinator will be responsible for coordinating care and service needs, working closely with our Intake and Recruitment divisions to communicate staffing needs and trends, and collaborating as part of a cohesive team. In this role, the Home Care Scheduling Coordinator will staff personnel according to home care patients' schedules, ensuring that all client needs are met promptly and effectively. The coordinator will also document and report any changes in client status, service requirements, or aide assignments to the supervisor, as well as any incidents or complaints that may arise. Effective communication is key, as the coordinator will need to relay relevant information to nurses and home care clients, follow up on schedule changes, and address any service issues that may occur. On-call duties are also a requirement of this position, ensuring that our clients receive uninterrupted care at all times.
