Home Care Registered Nurse (Flexible Caseload | OKC Metro)
About The Position
This PRN / Part-Time Registered Nurse role provides in-home assessments and patient advocacy throughout the OKC metro area. The position is 100% assessment-based , with no hands-on care, lifting, or bedside care . Nurses will complete verbal and observational assessments, communicate with patients and families, and relay clinical information to the care team. Role Focus This position focuses on: Independent, low-stress nursing One-on-one patient and family interaction Flexible, self-paced work This position does NOT include: Hands-on bedside care Facility or hospital shifts Physical care tasks such as lifting or bathing
Requirements
- Active Oklahoma RN license
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Experience in home health, home care, hospice, inpatient rehabilitation (IPR), or skilled nursing facility (SNF)
Responsibilities
- Conduct verbal and observational nursing assessments in client homes
- Partner with patients and families to support care goals
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
