Requirements

• Associate's Degree preferred, not required.
• 1 or more years of experience in a healthcare administration setting, preferably in homecare.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally on the phone.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to identify potential issues and participate in their resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and technical support to clinical team members.
• Manage operational aspects of the vendor referral and authorization process.
• Coordinate authorized services with appropriate agencies.
• Communicate regularly with members and collaborate with team members to support their needs.
• Accurately review and enter authorization data into the service authorization system.
• Work with supervisors to recommend process improvements.
• Maintain relationships with MLTCs and insurance companies.
• Answer inbound member calls, triaging inquiries and escalating issues to supervisors as necessary.
• Collaborate with supervisors to obtain necessary documentation from vendors, healthcare providers, hospitals, and other providers.
