About The Position

Caring Senior Service of Louisville is launching and growing in the Louisville market, and we are seeking an Home Care Director to take full ownership of local operations, team leadership, and revenue growth. This is not a maintenance role. This is a build-and-scale leadership opportunity. If you bring operational discipline, business acumen, and hands-on senior care understanding — this is your chance to lead something meaningful from the ground up. As Home Care Director , you are responsible for the performance, growth, compliance, and culture of the local agency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of leadership/management experience
  • Background in healthcare, senior care, or service-based operations
  • Experience building or scaling teams strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage P&L responsibility
  • Demonstrated success driving measurable growth
  • Self-starter with strong decision-making skills
  • Organized, adaptable, and performance-driven
  • Leads by example with integrity and empathy
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation (including occasional nights/weekends)

  • Direct hands-on caregiving experience (strongly preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Drive daily operations, systems, and service excellence
  • Oversee care coordination and quality assurance
  • Implement process improvements and operational controls
  • Build referral relationships and community partnerships
  • Represent the agency in the local healthcare market
  • Develop strategies to increase census and revenue
  • Identify opportunities to scale efficiently
  • Manage billing, payroll, collections, and budgeting
  • Monitor margins and performance metrics
  • Drive sustainable, profitable growth
  • Recruit, lead, and develop office staff and caregivers
  • Establish clear performance expectations
  • Foster accountability, professionalism, and compassion
  • Conduct in-home consultations and safety assessments
  • Ensure caregivers are trained and delivering exceptional service
  • Maintain high client satisfaction and retention
  • Ensure adherence to all state, federal, and local regulations
  • Maintain required documentation, licensing, and audit readiness
