What you'll do as a Home Healthcare Consultant: Generate inquiries and referrals through relationship-building, follow-up, and market awareness. Build & maintain strong referral relationships with healthcare providers and community partners. Conduct in-home and phone consultations with prospective clients and their families. Assess care needs, explain services and pricing, and guide families through decision-making. Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact throughout the onboarding process. Partner with care coordinators and client service managers to ensure smooth care starts. Represent Home Instead at community events, referral meetings, and industry functions. Document and Track activity, referrals, and outcomes accurately in the CRM system. Monitor progress toward KPIs and sales goals and report results to leadership. Travel locally within Lancaster County for client consultations, averaging about two appointments per day. Our Ideal Home Healthcare Consultant: Experienced: Brings at least one year of experience in senior services, disability services, human services, or a related field, with additional background in field sales, customer service, hospitality, or the Lancaster market a plus. Relationship-focused: Builds trust with clients, families, healthcare providers, and community partners through clear communication and active listening. Self-directed: Manages a schedule and takes initiative without close supervision. Results-oriented: Comfortable owning referral activity, follow-up, and outcomes in a goal-driven role. Compassionate & Professional: Maintains empathy, steadiness, and professionalism in emotionally sensitive or high-stress situations. Computer Skills: Uses CRM systems and standard office tools to input and track activity and maintain accurate documentation. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.
