Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
  • Prior experience in caregiving, either in a home care setting or a healthcare facility.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide compassionate and person-centered care.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if required for the position).

Nice To Haves

  • Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, nutritional needs, and medication reminders
  • Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship.
  • Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to the care team.
  • Follow established care plans and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
