About The Position
As a Caregiver with ameriCARE Beach Cities, you will handle: Personal care (bathing, dressing, linen change, toileting, etc.) Meal preparation Ambulation and transfer Companionship Shopping Medication reminders Light housekeeping You will follow the client care plan and provide updates as needed. You will work one-on-one with your clients in order to build relationships. Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Licensed HCA (California Home Care Aide)
- Have regular access to an insured vehicle to get to and from client locations (and potentially drive clients)
- Driver’s license
- Able to demonstrate prior caregiving experience
- Negative TB test, or chest x-ray
- Eligible to work in the United States (and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire)
