About The Position

Longmeadow, MA - PT e/o Wed 12-4p, transportation, female caregiver wanted, applicant must have their own car. May share client with other caregivers and/or take on other clients to achieve desired number of hours. Mrs. U in Longmeadow is looking for a female caregiver to provide transportation every other Wednesday from 12p-4p. Responsibilities include: transportation to grocery store companionship (be kind, friendly, and positive!) Light housekeeping (laundry, tidying up, dishes, dusting, etc.) Join our award winning team of senior home care professionals in the greater Springfield area. Our elderly clients need help around their homes with personal care, palliative care, respite care, meal preparation and feeding, mobility assistance and transfers, light housekeeping duties, transportation to and from appointments, and companionship. Requirements

At least: either 1+ years of experience in direct care, nursing students, or newly certified
Experience with direct care
Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English & communicate verbally with clients, families, co-workers, and administrative staff
Reliable transportation, a current driver's license, clean driving record
Ability to add Business Class 30 to insurance (we reimburse up to $50/year)
Two valid forms of identification
Willing to submit to background checks
At least 2 professional references (not friends)
Willing to accept at least 1 shift e/o weekend
