About The Position
At Haven Home Care, you'll enjoy both your work and your team. Through a state or VA-funded program, eligible seniors receive service hours that our in-home caregivers fulfill. Our caregivers provide essential support with daily living tasks - such as personal care, light housekeeping, errands, and more - helping clients maintain independence and comfort in their own homes.
Requirements
- 12 months unpaid experience or 6 months paid experience
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Ability to lift 50 LBS
- Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Provides direct personal care to clients in the comfort of their home
- Preparing/cleaning up after a meal
- Bathing/personal care
- Basic home chores (sweeping, mopping, dusting)
- Laundry
- Providing companionship
- Running errands
