About The Position

·
Perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy services under the direction of the office.
Assist clients with range of motion (ROM) exercises.
Assist clients with ambulation or exercises.
Perform personal care activities, including but not limited to:
Bathing, hair care, skin care, nail care, and oral hygiene
Shaving
Dressing
Perform household services essential to health care at home, including but not limited to:
Meal preparation and feeding
Laundry
Light housekeeping
Medication Reminders
Report any observed or reported changes in the client’s condition to the Healthy at Home Caregivers Office.
Follow all reporting guidelines, including but not limited to
Any guidelines outlined in the client’s Care Plan
State required reporting of suspected elder abuse
Document provided care and completed the necessary forms for the client’s records, including but not limited to:
Care Provided
VA Timesheets

Requirements

• Knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
• Physical endurance
